Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN ensures patient safety, comfort, and well-being while adhering to all healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions to the RN or physician.

• Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.

• Perform wound care, catheterization, injections, and other clinical procedures as required.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in medical records.

• Support patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.

• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed at all times.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.

• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.

• Participate in shift reports, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
